In addition to numerous awards, Forest Whitaker won the Academy Award for Best Lead in 2007 for his role as Idi Amin in the feature film "The Last King of Scotland". He is also the founder of the "Whitaker Peace & Development Initiative" and UNESCO Ambassador for Peace and Reconciliation.
